This document outlines important notes and conditions regarding the Shichi-Go-San photoshoot.

 

Please read carefully and fill the application/consent form to indicate your understanding and agreement.

 

The following points explain key information and guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyablesession.

1. Personal Belongings

 

Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times. Perth Berries cannot be heldresponsible for any loss or theft.

​

2. Cancellation Policy

 

Cancellations 3 days before: deposit non-refundable.
2 days before: 50% fee.
Same-day: 100%fee.

If cancellation is due to illness with a valid doctor’s certificate and a waiting list is available, a full refund may be given.

If you need to cancel on the day of your appointment, please be sure to contact us by 8:00 AM.
For same-day cancellations, please call 0417 952 334 (Yuko).
If you do not arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled time, your reservation will be automatically canceled. (No refund)

3. Safety and Supervision

 

If we determine that a situation is unsafe, staff may ask parents to remind children to be have safely during the session.

 

4. Re-Shoot Policy
 

If your child becomes upset and cannot be photographed properly within the scheduled time, areshoot may be arranged later on the same day if time allows. No refunds are available.

 

5. Dress Code

 

Please wear a singlet  under your child’s clothing to prevent direct contact with the kimono. Ifnot worn, a $10 cleaning fee will apply. Avoid wearing tight tops, and ensure easy-to-removeclothing.

 

6. Arrival Time

 

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled session. Each family has a one-hour block, which includes check-in, dressing, hairstyling, photoshoot, and changing time. We cannotstart earlier than your booking time.

 

7. Hairstyling and Hygiene

 

Hairstyling is available for an additional fee. If your child has head lice or nits, the session may be canceled for health and safety reasons. Please brush and dry hair before arriving, and prepare simple hairstyles.

 

8. Additional Family Members

 

Please inform us in advance if more family members or additional children will join the shoot. Without prior notice, we may not be able to accommodate changes.

 

9. Kimono Use and Handling
 

Kimonos are assigned according to each child’s age and size. Color or design changes are notavailable. If you bring your own kimono, our staff must handle dressing. Damage caused bymisuse may incur a $150 repair or cleaning fee.

If your child wears glasses, please note that flash reflections may occur depending on the angle.
During the shoot, we kindly ask that glasses be removed, or please understand that some reflection from the flash may appear if they are worn.

 

10. Lateness

 

Late arrival will reduce your shooting time. We cannot extend session time for late arrivals toavoid affecting other clients.
 

 

11. Child's condition

​

Please make sure your child uses the restroom before check-in. The restroom is located outside the studio.

​

If your child has eaten just before the session, please wipe their face, comb their hair, and ensure they are wearing shoes and socks when arriving.

Note: The dressing area is no shoes allowed.​

​

 

12. Conduct During the Session

 

Please help encourage your child and maintain a positive atmosphere. Parents’ cooperation isappreciated to create a comfortable environment for the children.　

 

Before the shoot, please show your child photos or videos to help them become excited about their Shichi-Go-San session.
Also, please consider your child’s usual daily routine (meal times, nap times, etc.) and try to bring them in in the best possible condition for the session.

 

13. Studio Safety

 

The studio contains equipment and props that may be dangerous for children. Please superviseyour child at all times.

 

14. Cameras and Video Recording

 

Personal photography and video recording are not allowed during the professional shoot. Youmay take photos before or after the session.

 

15. Food and Drink

​

Strictly no eating or drinking inside the studio.

​

16. Photo Editing and Delivery

 

All photos are reviewed and edited (color, lighting, cropping, etc.) after the shoot. Photo galleries will be delivered via email approximately two weeks later. Three digital photos are included, with additional high-resolution images available for $20 each or special packages.

 

17. Copyright

 

All photo copyrights are retained by the photographer and Perth Berries. Purchased photos maybe used for personal purposes. Photos may be used in promotional materials with your consent.

 

18. Liability

 

While every care is taken, Perth Berries is not liable for injuries, loss, or damage during thesession. In case of data loss due to equipment failure, only the session fee will be refunded.

 

19. Session Outline

​

Please note that each session is one hour per group, which includes pre-shoot reception, explanation, consultation, changing clothes (including dressing), hair and makeup, and removing costumes.

 

Also, there is very little interval between shooting blocks. Our staff will be taking care of tidying up and cleaning, so the session will start exactly at your reserved time, and we cannot begin the shoot before your scheduled time.

 

Additionally, due to the tight schedule, there may be instances where the start time is slightly delayed. Thank you for your understanding.

Please be on time, and ensure your child uses the restroom before arrival.

 

Photo Notes

​

Each photo is carefully edited.

​

• All photos taken during the session will be taken with us for processing.

• Each photo will be checked individually, and we will perform color and exposure adjustments, cropping, and removal of blurry or closed-eye photos.

• Because of this editing process, photos cannot be provided on the day of the shoot.

• About two weeks after the shoot, a private online gallery will be created that only you can view, and the URL will be sent via email.

• Once the gallery is ready, please choose your three favorite photos within one week.

• If you wish to purchase more than three photos, additional photos can be purchased for an extra fee.

Intellectual Property Rights of Photos
 

• The intellectual property rights of the photographed data are primarily held by the photographer and Perth Berries.

• For purchased data, the buyer also holds rights to the photos.

• The photographer may use the photos for advertising or promotional purposes. Please indicate your preference on the attached consent form regarding the use of your photos for advertising.
   

Photo Loss or Damage

• While we have full preparation of equipment and backup systems, if data is damaged due to equipment failureand cannot be edited or provided, the photography fee will be refunded.
